Terms and Conditions of Togoro

  1. Booking and Payment:

    • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit, unless otherwise specified.
    • Bookings are confirmed in written form by email or any other means. Togoro will consider your booking valid after a payment of your 15% deposit. You will need to send a proof of payment for the transaction.
    • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or cash. Additional fees may apply for credit card transactions.
  2. Cancellation and Refunds

    • A client may cancel/ postpone their booking by notifying Togoro.

    • The applicable cancellation fees shall be determined with reference to the date on which the request to cancel is received by Togoro and are expressed hereinafter as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled tour

      1. Cancellation received 90 days or more before the tour starts: No Cancellation Fees will be charged except the transfer cost.
      2. Cancellation received 40 days before the tour starts: 30% Cancellation Fee will be charged
      3. Cancellation received 30 days before the tour starts: 50% Cancellation Fee will be charged
      4. Cancellation received within one week before the tours starts: 100% Cancellation Fee will be charged
      5. Tailor-made tours may be subject to alternative cancellation terms, which will be communicated to applicable clients at the time of booking.
  3. Tour Itinerary:

    • Togoro reserves the right to alter tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or wildlife movements.
    • Every effort will be made to adhere to the planned itinerary, but flexibility is necessary on safari tours.
  4. Travel Documents and Insurance:

    • It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any required medical certificates for the duration of the tour.
    • Travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and emergency evacuation is strongly recommended.
  5. Health and Safety:

    • Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in the tour.
    • Togoro reserves the right to deny participation to any traveler deemed unfit due to health reasons.
  6. Liability:

    • Togoro acts only as an agent for the traveler in all matters related to hotel accommodations, tours, transport, etc., and shall not be liable for any injury, loss, delay, or damage arising from any cause whatsoever.
  7. Responsibility:

    • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables throughout the tour.
    • Togoro is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.
  8. Code of Conduct:

    • Participants are expected to follow all local laws and regulations.
    • Respect for wildlife, local communities, and fellow travelers is paramount.
  9. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

    • Togoro reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be effective for all bookings made after the date of modification.

By booking a tour with Togoro, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
